Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System
SunPlus has drawn upon knowledge gained from 20 years of experience in designing and developing child welfare information systems distinguished by worker support features and functionality. SunPlus team members have been involved with several child welfare projects, including providing services for major SACWIS systems. We base our project approach for successful completion of the SACWIS on the transfer of design and the reengineering of our existing SACWIS programs.
SunPlus has assembled a project team with a background in human services, which includes extensive experience in Child Welfare, application development, systems integration skills, and relevant technologies necessary to successfully meet the SACWIS project requirements. Our Team consists of Child Welfare system designers and developers, and implementation and support specialists-who all participated in drafting the general and specific approach to the development and implementation of the SACWIS. Our approach is sound and field proven and our plans offer a low-risk program.
SunPlus has assembled a highly qualified team with a comprehensive understanding of child welfare programs; a successful record of transferring, implementing, operating, and certifying health and human services systems (including providing services on several SACWIS programs); a hands-on working knowledge of the technical platform; and a thorough understanding of the child welfare environment. The members of the SunPlus Team have direct hands-on experience with each critical applicable SACWIS component. The Team is composed of e-business technologists who are familiar with all of the hardware, software, tools, and methodologies in our proposed approach to reliably reengineer the SACWIS. Application of these skills and experience will lead to SACWIS project success.
